He was born in Tokat in 1965. He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Literature Department of History in 1987.
He became research assistant in 1987.
He received Doctor title in 1997.
He was assigned to Department of Modern Times as an Assistant Professor in 1999.
He received a title as associate professor of Modern Times and Contemporary Times in 2005.
He was assigned to associate professor staff in Department of Modern Times in 2006.
He was assigned to professorship staff in Department of Modern Times in 2011.
